Your Question

Our Response
What is this update about?
Any IQA report that has been superseded by the results of a subsequent ISA will, as of June 2020, be permanently archived
Who took this decision?
The OAAAQA Board took this decision after debating the pros and cons in the light of international benchmarking on the subject of archiving superseded reports
Why was the decision taken?
Archiving superseded reports enables the public to be guided in their opinion by only the most current information regarding the performance of an HEI
How will reports be archived?
For every report that has been archived, a summary of the IQA has been lodged in its place on the OAAAQA website – a practice that will continue as required
Can IQA reports still be accessed?
IQA reports remain available on the OAAAQA website until ISA results for the same HEI are published; researchers may request access to archived reports
Who can see an archived report?
Anyone with legitimate reasons may contact the CEO of OAAAQA to request access to an archived report, stating the reasons for their request
What are the ‘legitimate reasons’?
A list of criteria is available showing who can apply to see an archived report and for what purpose (see Part B of the Application Form)
How do I apply to access a report?
An application form, downloadable from the OAAAQA website, is available and helps guide those seeking access to a report (Click here for Application Form)
