With participation of 27 representatives from several Awarding Bodies, the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education (OAAAQA), represented by the Directorate General of the National Qualifications Framework (DGNQF), held a capacity building workshop on Listing qualifications on the Oman Qualifications Framework (OQF) during the period from 15 to 16 March 2023 at the OAAAQA headquarter. The workshop was attended by Sultan Qaboos University, Dhofar University, Sohar University, Germen University for Technology and Gulf College
The workshop program included a detailed explanation of the process of Listing qualifications on the OQF and different interactive activities were conducted during the workshop to enrich the participants' skills in the Listing process. In addition, the attendees participated in writing Learning Outcomes, assessment criteria as well as evaluating some modules against the OQF Level Descriptors to determine the OQF Level and the OQF Credit value. At the end of the workshop, the participants were urged to develop internal measures and arrangements until the actual implementation of OQF processes.
