The OAAAQA has now completed the second cycle of Institutional Standards Assessment (Institutional Reaccreditation) for Majan University College (MUC). This was carried out in accordance with the OAAAQA Institutional Standards Assessment Manual and its Addendum: Institutional Standards Reassessment (ISR), dated February 2018.
MUC’s ISA (cycle 1) results were approved (Accredited) by the OAAAQA Board on 20 December 2017, where the College was resulted in an Accreditation Outcome of ‘Accredited’. MUC submitted the second cycle of ISA Application on 25 December 2024 and a Panel was formed to undertake the Reaccreditation process; this comprised experienced locally-based and international external reviewers. During the Visit, which took place from 22 – 25 April 2024. The Panel spoke with more than 80 people, including representatives of the governing authorities, staff, students and external stakeholders. The Panel also reviewed a range of additional materials.
The OAAAQA Board approved the resulting ISA (Institutional Reaccreditation) Report on 14 August 2024 and the College has received a copy of that report. This report will not be made publicly available but will be circulated as a confidential document to OAAAQA Board Members and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
The MUC ISA (Institutional Reaccreditation) resulted in an Accreditation Outcome of ‘Accredited’. MUC becomes the first Higher Educational Institutional to receive Institutional Reaccreditation by OAAAQA. You can find all reaccredited institutions on OAAAQA website
