Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education (OAAAQA) organised a training workshop for Schedule of National University (NU), Majan University College (MUC) and Dhofar University (DU) in Institutional Standards Assessment (ISA) on 2 May 2023. The workshop aimed to give the institutions an overview of the OAAAQA’s role in ISA; to provide a guide for the process of the Institutional Standards Assessment, to provide guidance on how to carry out self-assessment; and provide guidance on how to prepare a commentary and identify key evidence. The sessions also included the use of ADRI as an analytical tool to support self-assessment, in addition to practical and interactive sessions on the writing of self-assessment commentary and consideration of ISA Visit arrangements.
