Dr. Bamini Rajasekharan
 
Dr. Bamini has to her credit an experience of 25 years in various Academic and Administrative capacities. She was the Assistant Director, Quality Assurance and Projects at SNS Group of Institutions and was responsible for Quality Assurance and Projects at the constituent colleges of Engineering, Technology and the CBSE School. She reenergized the Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT) at the group of institutions, responsible for development of faculty in both teaching pedagogy and technical expertise. She was also heading the Department of Management Studies at SNS College of Engineering. Prior to joining SNS Group of Institutions, she has served at various positions at the Ministry of Manpower, Sultanate of Oman. She was the Head of Section at Ibra College of Technology and then moved to the Ministry of Manpower, Oman, as Quality Assurance Expert at the Ministry’s Quality Assurance Department. Her responsibilities included implementation of various systems and processes which led to the Institutional and Program Accreditation for the Colleges of Technology. She has successfully offered many workshops and training sessions for the Academic and Administrative community at the Colleges of Technology, Oman, in areas including Strategic Planning and Operational Planning, Developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Risk Management, Policy Management Framework and other related QA systems and processes. She provides consultancy for Higher Education Institutions in India and abroad in the areas of Strategic Planning, Program and Curriculum Development, Establishing QA systems, Portfolio and Self-study documents for accreditation. 

 
Dr Galal Mohamed Afifi
 
Dr. Galal M. H. Afifi has over 25 years of experience in tourism education and business. He is currently the Head of the Tourism Department at Sultan Qaboos University. Dr. Galal has extensive experience in tourism management, business and operation of travel intermediaries, event management, and tourism education. He is a reviewer in several prominent tourism journals such as Tourism Management, Tourism Management perspective, Tourism Analysis, and Quality Assurance in Education. Dr. Galal is a facilitator (trainer) with the UNWTO where he provided several training courses under the flag of the UN, as well as being member of several accreditation teams nationally and internationally. Dr. Galal has been numerously awarded for his excellence in research.
 
Prof. Ian Cumbus
 
Professor Ian Cumbus studied Biological Sciences at the University of Lancaster (UK) and subsequently in 1975 obtained his PhD in Plant Physiology at the University of Bath (UK). Postdoctoral Fellowships at the University of Bath and Oxford University were followed by appointment as Senior Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University in 1979. Secondments have included Foundation Dean of Science at the Asian University of Science and Technology in Thailand, start up and Head of Biotechnology programs at the Singapore Polytechnic, and Coordinator of Policy & Planning at Zayed University (1998-2000). Dr. Cumbus is a member of the UK’s Higher Education Academy and is a Chartered Biologist with the Institute of Biology (UK).   Over the years Professor Cumbus has received awards for Teaching Excellence and was recipient of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Fellowship in 1981. Most recently, in his role as Assistant Principal (Academic) at Writtle College UK, Dr. Cumbus was awarded Professorial status by the University of Essex in 2003. Dr. Cumbus has worked on contract for the Higher Education Funding Councils in England and Wales as Special Subject Quality Assessor and for other accreditation boards in the UK and internationally. Dr. Cumbus has worked as a Commissioner with the Commission for Academic Accreditation, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in the United Arab Emirates. He has also been a Qualifications Framework Expert at the National Qualifications Authority, United Arab Emirates. 
 
Prof. Raymond Harbridge
 

Professor RaymondHarbridge was appointed Dean of the Faculty of Law and Management in January2004. Previously he had been Head of the Graduate School of Management withinthe Faculty. He joined La Trobe University in 1999 from Victoria University ofWellington, New Zealand where he had been Director of the Graduate School ofBusiness and Government Management. He holds a Higher Doctorate in Law fromVictoria University of Wellington and a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Artsfrom the University of Auckland.   Histeaching has been predominantly at the post-experience level (mainly MBA)focusing on employment relations and people organisation issues. He has been afrequent contributor to Executive Education programs.  He has consultedextensively in the international arena (acting as a consultant for theInternational Labour Organisation and the OECD); on Government policy and inthe private and public sectors. He has provided expert evidence In NewZealand’s Court of Appeal on a number of occasions.   He has led a major research project in NewZealand funded in part by the Foundation for Research Science and Technology.This project has reviewed the effects of labour market reforms and thederegulation of employment institutions.  He has published more than 65refereed journal articles and numerous book chapters and conference papers.


 
Mr. Yasir Ellathody
 
Mr. Yasir Ellathody is an institutional effectiveness, strategic planning, quality assurance and performance management professional having certified as Lead Auditor on ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems) from IRCA (UK) with an excellent academic teaching background. Currently he is the Strategic Planning Specialist in the College of North Atlantic, Qatar. Previously he served as the Senior Strategic Planning Officer in A’Sharqiyah University, Sultanate Oman. He has undertaken various quality assurance and strategic planning tasks in Al’Sharqiyah University. He was the team leader of University Risk Management Committee and a member in various committees such as University Quality Assurance Steering Committee, University Business Plan Committee, GFP Audit Steering Committee, University Research and Enterprises Committee etc. Prior to joining A’Sharqiyah University, Mr. Yasir served as Director of a private training institute in Muscat where he had implemented ISO 9001-2015 leading the institute to get ISO certification. He also had worked on different quality assurance and strategic planning assignments in Ibra College of Technology, Oman since 2006 while he was teaching in the Business Studies Department and serving as the Head of On-the-Job Training Department together for seven years. He obtained his Masters in Social Work with Human Resource specialization from Aligarh Muslim University, India and has an Executive MBA, Postgraduate Certificates in Project Management, Strategic Performance Management and Strategic Planning for Technical Institutions and Six Sigma. He is a member of International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE), Quality Council of India(QCI),  Asian Association of Management, and Indian Society of Professional Social Workers. He contributes articles into different journals and publications, offers educational consultancy services and conducts workshops for higher education institutions in the areas of strategic planning, quality  assurance process improvement and institutional effectiveness.
