Prof. Clive Neal-Sturgess
 
Clive Neal-Sturgess was educated at King Edward VI School Nuneaton, was a Student Apprentice, graduated with a 1st Class Honours’ Degree from Lanchester College Coventry, and took his PhD in the Forming of Tool Steels at the University of Birmingham.  He held the Jaguar Chair of Automotive Engineering 1988-2004, and was formerly Head of Mechanical Engineering at Birmingham.  He has served in numerous bodies within the University of Birmingham, spent 17 years as a member of Senate, and has been a member of Court since 1988.  In 2006 he was honoured by being elected a University Foundation Fellow.He spent the majority of his academic career researching Continuum Damage Mechanics, Finite Element Methods, and the injuries to car occupants and pedestrians in crashes.  He is co-author of three books and over 150 research publications, and a member of the Editorial Boards of three Journals. He is a member of the Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety, and the European Transport Safety Council. He has been an external examiner at various universities for 20 years including the Universities of Mauritius, Malaysia, and the Caledonian College of Engineering Oman. He has been a quality assurance assessor since 1996, and in 2008 was appointed as a subject reviewer for the UN Development Project at Arab Universities, reviewing Damascus and Helwan Universities in 2008.  He has served as an accreditor for both the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the Engineering Accreditation Board in the UK since 1992.  He was Chairman of the Panel which reviewed the Engineering Councils (UK) examinations in 2007.  He has been a reviewer for the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, the Australian and Canadian National Research Councils, and is an assessor for the National Teaching Fellowships Scheme of the Higher Education Academy.  He has been a member of the Engineering Professors’ Council for 12 years, and is currently Chairman of the International Working Group. 
 
Prof Jonathan Bowen
 
Jonathan Bowen, FBCS FRSA, is Emeritus Professor of Computing at London South Bank University, where he established and headed the Centre for Applied Formal Methods in 2000, an Adjunct Professor at Southwest University, Chongqing, China, and Chairman of Museophile Limited, founded in 2002. He was Professor of Computer Science at Birmingham City University during 2013-15. From 1995 to 2000, Prof. Bowen was a lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, University of Reading where he led the Formal Methods and Software Engineering Group. Previously he was a senior researcher at the Oxford University Computing Laboratory Programming Research, where he worked under the guidance of Sir Tony Hoare, FRS. During 1979-84, he worked at Imperial College, London as a research assistant, latterly in the interdepartmental Wolfson Microprocessor Laboratory. Bowen has been involved with the field of computing in both industry (including Marconi Instruments, Logica, Silicon Graphics, and Altran Praxis) and academia since 1977. His interests have ranged from formal methods, safety-critical systems, the Z notation, provably correct systems, logic programming, decompilation, hardware compilation, software/hardware co-design, and software testing, to the history of computing, museum informatics, and digital culture. He holds an MA degree in Engineering Science from Oxford University. Bowen has an h-index of 51 on Google Scholar. He has undertaken accreditation in the Middle East, including UAE, Bahrain, Oman, and Saudi Arabia, since 2007. He is a Life Fellow of the British Computer Society and the Royal Society of Arts, and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists.  
 
Dr. Khalid Salim Al-Jardani
 
Dr. Khalid Al Jardani is an educational professional, highly qualified with a wide range of experience. In 2012 he obtained a PhD in Curriculum Evaluation and Quality Assurance from the University of Malaya in Malaysia. He also has an MA in TEFL/TESL from the University of Birmingham, UK. His undergraduate degree was in TESOL from the University of Leeds. He also has a teaching diploma from the Teacher Training College in Muscat. His professional and academic experience includes teaching students from Grade 1 up to college level, textbook writing, materials development and evaluation, quality assurance and research. He has over 25 years of experience in teaching and administration work in different governmental and private organizations including the Ministry of Education-Oman as a Senior English Teacher/ English Teacher, English Language Curriculum Officer and an Educational Expert and in Sultan Qaboos University as Post-doctor and Visiting Faculty. Currently he works for A’Sharqiyah University as Director for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Department. Dr. Al Jardani has presented in various national and international conferences and published numerous related articles/chapters and books  in national and international publications including the ones related to his studies such as in the field of self-assessment, training, curriculum development and evaluation and quality assurance.
 
Dr. Kiran Gopakumar Rajalekshmi
 
Dr. Kiran G.R. holds a PhD in Information Systems from the London School of Economics & Political Science, UK. He did his MPhil in Applied Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi and his B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, from College of Engineering, Trivandrum (CET), University of Kerala. He brings around 25 years of vast experience from his key roles at national and international levels in areas relating to higher education management, teaching, research, strategic policy development, quality assurance, social computing, governance reforms, e-governance, and ICT for development. He is currently the Dean of Middle East College (MEC), which is one of the largest Higher Education Institutions in the Sultanate of Oman. Dr. Kiran has been part of the governance bodies of MEC and has been a key member in the development of two five-year strategic plans. In the last 14 years, he has taken the lead in driving the strategic objectives of the college and spearheading institutional efforts on driving student employability and internationalisation. He was instrumental in developing the Quality Management System (QMS) of Middle East College that cuts across all academic and administrative operations of the college. Under his leadership, the QMS has been audited and certified as being in adherence to ISO 9001:2015. He is an External Reviewer with the Oman Authority of Academic Accreditation (OAAA) and with the Bahrain’s Education & Training Quality Authority (BQA). Dr. Kiran was responsible to lead the college in its Institutional Standards Assessment by the OAAA in the year 2019. MEC is now OAAA accredited.
 
Dr. Naser Sarhan
 
Dr. Naser Sarhan is an Assistant Professor of Meteorology at King Faisal Air Academy, Royal Saudi Air Force. He was the head of Aero-science unit and director of the Scientific Studies Evaluation and Development Committee at between 2007 and 2012, and currently is the head of the curricula department. He worked as a full-time consultant at the Education Evaluation Commission, the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (NCAAA) since 28/01/2012 until 01/02/2018, and as committee member for establishing the Military Education and Training Evaluation Commission in Saudi Arabia, November 2018- December 2019 . Dr. Naser holds a PhD in Numerical Meteorology graduated from University of East Anglia, School of Environmental Science (2007). He holds a Master of Sciences in Meteorology (2000), and a BSc in Meteorology (1996), from King Abdulaziz University, Department of Meteorology. He has been involved in quality assurance and accreditation in Saudi Arabia since 2012. These work activities included his career work as a senior accreditation consultant at the NCAAA and the ministry of higher education. He provided the academic support and accreditation consultations for many of the higher education Institutions/Programs, and he managed the NCAAA Accreditation processes for several external reviews processes. He Serving as a chair/member of multiple review Panels for University/Academic Programs accreditation and to evaluate the TVTC Colleges “Vocational” Programs in Saudi Arabia. He also provides many of the NCAAA training programs and workshops for the external Reviewers and for the HE institutions. In addition, he attended many of the local and the International Conferences on Quality Assurance in Postsecondary. Dr. Nasser has been actively involved in several scientific researches in the field of aeronautical meteorology and environmental Sciences.
