Dr Ali Hamdan Al Balushi
 
Dr.Ali Hamdan Al-Balushi previously held the position of Assistant Dean forInstitutional Support at the College of Banking and Financial Studies(2005-2020). The areas of his interest and experiences included areas ofinternational relations, public administration, higher education and training,as well as assessing higher education institutions. He obtained a Bachelor`sdegree from the University of South Carolina in the United States of America1989, a master’s degree in public administration from the American Universityof Egypt 2001, and a doctorate in management from the University of SouthamptonUK. 2017. He has a record of administrative and leadership experiences indifferent ministries before joining the college. Dr. Ali is an academiclecturer who teaches various subjects such as Human Resources Department,Public Administration and public Finance. He attended many training courses,seminars and conferences on management, higher education, leadership, humanresource management, budget control and quality management. He is a trainer inleadership and personal skills (negotiation skills, customer relationsmanagement, customer service and behavior skills. Dr. Ali has a researchinterest in the field of leadership and quality for private higher educationinstitutions in Oman to create an enabled environment in these institutions.His book has been indexed entitled "Creating an enabled environment ininstitutions Private Higher Education in Oman "in both the Library ofSultan Qaboos University and also the Library of the National Defense College.He also has experience in local development, management and quality managementprograms. Dr. Ali Al Balushi is a member of Omani Academic AccreditationAuthority and the Quality education in Oman since 2010. He is also a member of TheArab International Foundation for Education Development, based in the HashemiteKingdom of Jordan.
 
Mr Chris McIntyre
 
Chris McIntyre was Dean of Cultural Affairs and member of the Office of the Vice Chancellor at the University of Hertfordshire, and previously Vice Principal of Loughborough College of Art and Design.  His academic background is in the History and Theory of Art and Design. At UH Chris built and developed of a new arts faculty focussing on professional concerns and responding to contemporary discipline issues. Chris also held portfolios for Staff Development, Marketing and Communications and Academic Quality Enhancement and chaired the Ethics Committee, Academic Quality Enhancement Committee, the Film and Digital Media Exchange and UHArts. Independently, Chris has worked in management, institutional development and academic quality for organisations in the UK and in Spain, China, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Russia and Malaysia. He currently works for national and international quality agencies as an auditor and reviewer. Recently, Chris has undertaken management and development work with a range of UK and international universities and agencies, including the University of the Creative Arts, the University of the Arts, London, the University of the Highlands and Islands and the University of the West of England. He is also a member of, and recent chair of the Academic Board of Arden University. Chris has an interest in creative professional development and has Board experience with the Crafts Council, Regional Arts Boards, Edexcel, the Arts Council of England, Theatre Is…, St Albans  School and the Museum of St Albans and continues to volunteer for local arts and education charities. 

 
Dr. Jane Knight
 
Dr. Jane Knight, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto, focuses her research and professional interests on the international dimension of higher education at the institutional, national, regional and international levels. Her work in over 65 countries with universities, governments, UN Agencies, and foundations helps to bring a comparative, development and international perspective to her research, teaching and policy work.     She is the author of numerous publications on internationalisation concepts and strategies, quality assurance, institutional management, and cross-border education.  Two new publications in 2013 - ‘International Education Hubs: Student, Talent and Knowledge/ Innovation Models’ and ‘Internationalization of African Higher Education: Towards Achieving the MDGS’ reflect her wide interests the international dimensions of higher education.   Recent quality assurance reviews include membership on the OECD Expert Panel to review the Quality Assurance System for Tertiary Education in Chile (2012) and an institutional audit for the Australian Tertiary Education Quality Standards Agency (2011).  During the last decade she has been a member of numerous institutional and project evaluation teams in all regions of the world.    She is the co-founder of the African Network for the Internationalization of Education (ANIE) and sits on the advisory boards of many international organizations, universities, and journals. Her interest in understanding the impact of local cultural, political, social and economic contexts on international higher education has led her to being a visiting scholar in India, Laos, Japan, Malaysia and Germany in the last five years.  In 2010 the University of Exeter awarded her an Honorary LLD for her research and policy work on the international dimension of higher education and in 2013 she received the Gilbert Medal from Universitas 21. 
 
Prof. Martin Henson
 
Martin Henson is a Higher Education Consultant based in the UK.  He is a former Professor of Computer Science at the University of Essex in the UK, where he was Dean of International Development. Between 2000 and 2006 he was Head of the School of Computer Science and Electronic Systems Department. Martin has extensive accreditation experience in the Gulf region, having been involved in more than 50 program and institutional accreditations, mainly in the UAE, but also in Saudi Arabia. For periods during 2007 and 2008 he worked for the UAE Ministry if Higher Education’s Commission of Academic Accreditation as a Consultant Commissioner, aiding with the revision of the UAE Standards for Accreditation and Licensure, and leading their strategic planning project. Professor Henson has recently given keynote addresses on outcomes-based curriculum development, and on institutional research strategic planning in Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. His other recent international consultancy has included Jordan, Kuwait, the West Indies and Sweden. His research activities focus on formal methods for software engineering, in the last ten years concentrating especially on specification logics for languages such as Z. He the author/editor of several books, and has published more than 100 articles in the area. His most recent contribution concerns the specification logic nuZ, and is included in the Springer monograph: “Formal Methods: State of the Art and New Directions”.
