Mr. Kieran Ross
 
Mr Kieran Ross is an Australian educated management professional (Master of Business Administration, Master of Quality Management, PG Certificate in Higher Education and a Bachelor of Economics (Accountancy)) with over ten year’s experience in the Australian Government Sector and almost twenty years international experience within the higher education sector in the United Arab Emirates. Extensive experience, has been acquired, in respect of meeting institutional and/or program accreditation requirements across the Australian, British, United Arab Emirates and Oman national accreditation systems. Mr Kieran Ross has successfully undertaken Managerial roles in both Administrative (Manager of Institutional Research and Quality, Manager of Academic Planning and Policy and as a Quality Manager) and Academic (Lecturing and as Campus Programme Co-ordinator Undergraduate (General Business) fields; with international (Australian and English) and local higher education institutions within the United Arab Emirates. Mr. Kieran Ross is currently the Registrar at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government in Dubai. Research has focused on marketing in education and identifying factors that provide a deeper understanding of the issues that higher education institutions face in providing a challenging and satisfying student learning experience. 
 
Dr Maha Merghani Kobeil
 
Dr. Maha Kobeil, Dean, Majan College (University College), Muscat, earned her Ph.D. from the University of Manchester in Applied Linguistics and an MA from the University of Liverpool, UK. Her extensive experience in the areas of higher education, teaching, curriculum evaluation, planning and development, and institutional and programme quality assurance standards has spanned more than eighteen years.  She has expertise in the fields of English Language, Applied Linguistics, Quality Assurance, Teacher Education, and Student Counselling. She has supervised dissertations at Masters Level in Khartoum University and Al Neelain University in Sudan as well as undergraduate projects in Ahfad University and Majan College. Dr. Kobeil has been involved in the preparation of documentation for programme validations, institutional reviews and strategic planning. She also plays an active role in ensuring that quality assurance standards are adhered to. She has chaired and actively participated in Examination Boards in the Business and IT Faculties in Majan as well as being an external examiner for programmes in other institutions. She was instrumental in the preparation and implementation of the BA (Hons) in English Language and the validation of the Majan’s new Foundation Programme in 2003. Dr. Kobeil has contributed to the development of the English Language courses for the Colleges of Applied Sciences with the Ministry of Higher Education. She was a member of the working group for establishing the National Standards for General Foundation Programmes in Oman. Her research interests are in the areas of reading comprehension, information processing, critical thinking skills, and student learning styles.
 
Dr Nada Hussain Al Moosa
 
Dr. Nada Hussain AL –Moosa is the former Director of Quality at Oman College of Health Sciences and a health educationist with over 20 years of experience in the field of health professions education. PhD focus in the area of change management and quality improvement with a concentration on transition management. Experienced in change management and quality improvement methodologies, with a specific focus in behavioral change, and organizational development. Qualitative and mixed method research, short training/facilitation workshops in managing organizational change and individual transitions. Certified Prosci change practitioner and a trainer in organizational transition from Linkage in association with William Bridges and associates in the United States. A member of the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) and the Change Management sub-group of Dubai quality group DQG. A national and international speaker on change management, quality improvement, organizational transformation and individual transitions.
