Dr Azzah Ahmed Al Maskari
 
Dr Azzah Al-Maskari is the Dean at The University of Technology and Applied Sciences- Ibra, Sultanate of Oman.  Prior to this, she has worked as assistant dean for academic affairs for several years. As the Dean, in addition to other tasks, Dr. Azzah has been supervising the academic and non-academic matters of the college, overseeing the execution of the strategic plan of the college, and supervising the quality assurance system at the college. She has obtained her PhD from the University of Sheffield in Information Retrieval in 2009, Master from the University of Sheffield in 2005 and Bachelor in Computer Science from California State University, Fresno, USA in 2000. She has taken Lead Auditor Training Course- Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:20115, OHSAS 18001:2007) in 2017. Her research interests are focused on teaching and learning, knowledge sharing, and information science. She has contributed to the education system in the colleges of technology by chairing the curriculum review and development committee for the IT programs for several years from 2011 until 2021.
 
Dr. Christine Mary Boughey
 
Dr Chrissie Boughey Deputy Vice Chancellor, Rhodes University, South Africa Dr Chrissie Boughey spent many years working in the Gulf region, in Qatar, the UAE and Yemen, before moving to South Africa. In South Africa she has worked with the development of teaching and learning in a number of universities and has also contributed to policy and development work at a national level, including work related to quality assurance. She has worked at Rhodes University since 1999 serving as Director of a Centre focused on teaching and learning research and practice and then later as Dean, Teaching & Learning.  In this latter position she was responsible for the leadership of teaching and learning across the entire university.  In 2015, she was appointed as Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic & Student Affairs. As a full professor of Rhodes University, she has researched and supervised extensively and continues to maintain her intellectual work in her position as Deputy Vice Chancellor.  
 
Prof Mothana Al Kubaisy
 
Professor Mothana  Al-Kubaisy is a Consultant  at the Minister`s Office, Supreme Education Council in Qatar. He previously worked as the Dean and Senior Vice Dean  Academic  at  the International College of Engineering and Management (affiliated to the University of Central Lancashire, UK) in Muscat from 2010-2012.  Prof. Mothana also worked as the Dean of Muscat College (affiliated to the University of Stirling, UK) from 2002-2010.  He initially joined Muscat College in 1998 as the Head of the Built Environment Engineering Department.  Prior to joining Muscat College, he had worked, as a lecturer or as a head of department, for over 15 years in various universities in many countries including Malaysia, Libya and Iraq.  Prof. Mothana obtained his Ph.D. in civil engineering in 1978 from the University of Nottingham, UK, M.Phil. in civil engineering in 1975 from the University of Leicester, UK, and his B.Sc. in Building and Construction Engineering in 1971 from the University of Technology, Iraq.   As a Consultant  at the Minister`s Office, his responsibilities include providing advice and studies on strategic education plans and initiatives, critical review reports ,policy proposals and also contributing to  other governance and operational matters including licensing of new higher education institutes. As  Dean of International College of Engineering and Management and as a Dean of Muscat College, his responsibilities include providing leadership and support to staff; encouraging excellence in learning and teaching, coordination and management of various quality assurance activities; and establishing and enhancing of internal and external collaborative relationships.   He has published many papers in international referred journals and in proceedings of international conferences and carried out various structural engineering consultancy works. He has been a member of the OAAA working group formed to develop a Standard Classification Framework for Education in Oman and contributed to the work of other Ministry of Higher Education`s working groups on establishing certain policies and regulatory by-laws. 
 
Dr. Tariq Al-Sindi
 
Dr Tariq Al-Sindi is the General Director of the National Qualifications Framework and National Examination at the Education & Training Quality Authority of Bahrain (BQA). He is currently the Secretary General of the Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ANQAHE). Along with his 32 years of teaching, research, and academic administration, Dr Tariq has served as a consultant in various national and international missions, including the UNESCO and World Bank. He also took part in numerous academic programmes and institutional accreditation review-teams in Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. He participated as a Jury member in the e-Government Excellence Award.Dr Tariq also conducted many projects for the private and government sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain and published several papers in Information Systems, Quality Assurance, and Qualifications Framework. Dr Tariq was the recipient of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa Medals of Appreciation in 2017 for his efforts to serve the Kingdom.
