Prof. Gopal Muralidharan is currently lecturer in Accounting in the Department of International Business Administration at Rustaq College of Applied Sciences, Oman. He worked as Lecturer in Auditing and Accounting in the Department of Business and Accounting at Muscat College from 2006 to 2011.   Prior to joining Muscat College, he worked as a lecturer for the UK-based ACCA and ABE Professional courses in Kenya, Tanzania, and in Oman for over 10 years. As a Consultant and Financial Analyst member, Prof. Gopal Muralidharan has also served the World Bank mission on “India – Public Expenditure review – Transport” in 1992. Prof. Gopal Muralidharan served during 2010 as a member on the Quality Audit Panel of the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessments (NCAAA), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to audit the ‘Accounting Program’ at Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University.  With over 30 years of teaching experience, Prof. Gopal Muralidharan is a qualified Professional Certified Management Accountant from the Institute of Management Accountants (USA) and holds a Masters Degree in Commerce from the University of Madras. Teaching and training various Accounting and Finance modules to the non-native English students in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, Prof. Muralidharan has produced six Top Paper Prizewinners in the ABE (UK) Professional Course Examinations successively (from December 2001 to March 2003).
