Dr Andrew Eadie BSc, PhD, CEng, CPhys, CSci, FInstMC, MInstP, FHEA currently serves as an independent consultant in higher education. He previously held the post of Director of Quality at Glasgow Caledonian University. The remit of his previous post was to lead in the implementation of the University Quality Enhancement Strategy and develop and implement processes and procedures to enable the University to achieve the highest possible standard and quality in all teaching and learning activities. His duties also include developing new frameworks and structures for the delivery of collaborative programmes internationally, while ensuring that all such activity meets the highest possible quality and standards of outcome equivalent to those programmes delivered at GCU. Prior to holding his previous position Dr Eadie held a variety of academic posts in Physics. Dr Eadie’s research specialisation throughout his academic career has been in the application of physics and engineering principles to medical problems.
